Episode Notes - |
Quotes:
Karen: (meeting Frank Hayes for the first time) Hey, Five-O. Groovy that you're here. You know, I need an opinion. Both of you.
Karen: (shows John and Frank two of her paintings) All right. Cubism assignment. Which one floats you the most? Chaos? Or Order?
Karen: (Frank points to Order, John points to Chaos) You two deserve each other.
John: So I used a nail file and a toilet to cut a piece of the window she touched.
Karen: Oh – I bet that went over well.
Digger: Color me dense, but I am more confused then a eunuch at Vegas.
Frank: Like I haven’t had a freaky enough day already, now you’re going to walk in my door again?
John: 2 across – “Mesopotamia.” 13 down – “Grover Cleveland.”
Frank: What are you?
John: Beats me.
Frank: (to John) What are you, battery-operated or something?
John: What color is that? (Frank stares) I’m color-blind.
Frank: Really? You and my schnauzer.
(on John's own “Missing” posters)
Have You Seen Me? I’m Missing.
Karen: Seriously, what is with you?
John: You want to know the truth? The truth is I don’t’ know who I am. I’m nobody.
Digger: (toasting) May all your ups and downs be under the sheets.
Shayne: So who are you exactly?
John: John Doe.
Shayne: Does that make the wife Jane Doe?
John: In a manner of speaking.
John You ever been married?
Digger: How many fingers you got?
John: How does it feel?
Digger: You ever had a root canal? Ever watched a Maui sunset three Mai Tais in? Feels like a little of both.
John: Any idea how this happened?
Shayne: You want my opinion, it was a) any human being who comes in contact with my dad-hole; or b) that drug-crazy screwed-up daughter of his; or c) Colonel Mustard.
Shayne: What are you, some kind of private dick, or what?
John: Or what.
Trivia:
The last scene as the mysterious woman holds the printout and looks over a bunch of old buildings with a shining castle in the background, was filmed in the Cairo City of the Dead, a four-mile-long walled necropolis in Egypt and the castle is actually the Citadel.
Seattle area zip codes start 98 not 90.
Allusions:
Digger: Sounds a little Fatal Attraction to me.
Referencing the 1987 movie which featured Glenn Close as a woman who becomes dangerously infatuated with a businessman played by Michael Douglas. |
