The Gunmen learn that appearances can be deceiving when they investigate the supposed murder of a professional blackmailer. When the apparent victim's sister comes to them seeking help in bringing his killers to justice, the boys are dazzled by her beauty and determined to impress her by solving the case. Surprisingly, the Gunmen's evidence points to A.D. Skinner (from The X-Files) as the killer. The guys unravel the tangled web of lies and intrigue and discover the "victim" isn't dead. The victim is a part of an FBI sting operation that Skinner is also working on to net a group of Russian mobsters who sell plutonium on the black market. Making matters worse, they learn the beautiful sister of the "victim" is actually a transsexual who was once Byers' male roommate in college.
