The Tok'ra come to Earth and tell Sam that her dad has been captured and is being held prisoner by Sokar on a planet Earth people would describe as hell. The team decides to go rescue him and takes a cargo ship to the planet because there is no stargate there. Due to the thick atmosphere Jack Daniel Sam and Martouf take decent pods down to the surface while Teal'c stays in the ship to keep it in orbit around the planet.
