Debut: A.U.S.A. stands for Assistant United States Attorney, and it's the new title of upstanding lawyer Adam Sullivan, played by Scott Foley.
As the courtroom comedy opens, the brash Sullivan is just beginning his new career as a Federal prosecutor in New York City. After a painful introduction, Sullivan manages to run afoul of his new boss (Peter Jacobson), his old crush (Amanda Detmer), a judge and an FBI guy---all on his first day. The supporting cast includes Kathryn Joosten (The West Wing's Mrs. Landingham), who plays a sarcastic assistant; Eddie McClintock, portraying Sullivan's oblivious best friend; and John Ross Bowie as a quirky paralegal
