Brittny has definitely pushed herself to try new things this season, but she announces her retirement from reality TV after tonight's finale. Cut her some slack--the girl just wants to be normal. Which leaves Lisa without a partner in crime. Anyone know Nicole Richie's number?

A few tasks still remain to be done, though: There's a glamorous fundraiser to attend, a cosmetics line to help launch and a party to plan. Lisa wants to throw a bash for everyone involved in the making of her reality series. The shindig's a blast until the building manager threatens to pull the plug. Just another typical night at the Gastineaus, right? But in a sense, the party is already over. Britt's kissing the Big Apple goodbye and moving back to La-La Land to pursue her relationship with Rich, and Lisa finally feels ready to take on the town without her trusty sidekick. Will the girls be able to make it on their own, or will they fall apart at the first sign of trouble? (We're going to need a very special reunion episode over here!)

Our verdict: The Gastineau girls should be fine. The series ends on an optimistic note, as Lisa sums up what she's learned: Sometimes three's company; sometimes three's a crowd; two can have differences; and one is not the loneliest number. Sniff, sniff.
