Darkseid make's an appearance on Earth and is going to make good on his promise to make Superman pay along with Earth. Luther and his group join up with the League to stop Darkseid and a planet wide battle begins. During the battle one of the original seven Leaguer's who left to find himself returns to help (he's from Mars) and Superman decide's that he is going to let loose and hold nothing of his power back (which it seems he has been doing so as not to kill anyone) , Darkseid is defeated but not at the hands of Superman (he is no match for the power of Darkseid) but by Luther !! ...
