一騎の乗ったファフナー・マークエルフとフェストゥム・スフィンクス型との戦いは、激しさを増していく。その戦闘の中で、命を落とす皆城公蔵と要誠一郎。
初めての戦闘にとまどう一騎だったが、ファフナー・マークエルフをボロボロにさせながらも、なんとかスフィンクスを撃退する。
今まで隠されていた島の本当の姿にとまどう子供たち。しかし、戻ってきた平穏に少しの安堵を覚え、それぞれの家へと帰っていくのだった。そして一騎は…。
