First appearence of Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje's character, Mr. Eko. He's added to the main credits in the fourth episode of the season.
Actress Jolene Blalock did not appear in the episode once it was changed from a "Sawyer-centric" episode to a "Michael episode."
In the press release for this episode, ABC noted that actress Jolene Blalock would guest star in this episode. When the episode aired, Jolene was not credited, nor did she appear in the episode.
Even though the cast members are credited, actors Maggie Grace (Shannon), Naveen Andrews (Sayid), Michelle Rodriguez (Ana Lucia) and Yunjim Kim (Sun) do not appear in this episode. Jorge Garcia (Hurley) appears in a reused scene from the previous episode, but also in a new shot immediately after, where we see him, and in one shot, go to Charlie and Claire.
