Both Melinda and Jim are surprised when Jim's dreams are haunted by a beautiful female ghost while Melinda is away visiting her mother.

Jim senses that something strange is going on when beetles appear in their home during a card game with the guys. He then dreams about a beautiful woman holding an exotic cat and remembers that Melinda saw a cat ghost a few days earlier. Melinda calls and suggests that Jim visit Professor Rick Payne, an expert in the occult who she has consulted before, who helps Jim identify the woman as Eva. When Melinda returns home, she and Jim must help Eva's younger sister who appears to be following in Eva's dangerous footsteps.
