Inspired by the excitement of that case, Emily and Matt share a brief passionate moment, but afterward decide to remain just friends and request a reassignment of duties. Matt takes the lead in the next case, in which a self-made millionaire producer and his wife are accusing one another of infidelity and have each taken a hostage. Cheryl calls in Emily as the domestic barricade situation in Woodland Hills, CA, begins to boil.
