Unbeknown to Dr. Kelso (Ken Jenkins), J.D. (Zach Braff) and Turk (Donald Faison) try to beat the system to treat the Chief's uninsured friend. Elsewhere, the Janitor (Neil Flynn) blackmails Carla (Judy Reyes) with a case of mistaken dog identity. Meanwhile, Dr. Cox (John C. McGinley) tries to convince Eliot (Sarah Chalke) that a reformed drug addict isn't quite clean. All the while the entire staff is condemned to wearing dirt brown scrubs when Kelso suspects a clothing thief in their midst.
