Lincoln Heights (2007) - 1x07 - Manchild

When Eddie and Lund accidentally hit a 13 year-old boy on his bike, they have no idea he was fleeing the scene of a gang shooting, in which he shot and killed the sister of a rival gang member. Eddie and Lund must track down and protect the boy before the opposing gang has the chance to retaliate. Their investigation leads to the Taylor's residence, the same family who took Eddie in after his mother was killed in a drive-by shooting that was never solved. As memories come flooding back, Eddie soon discovers that time has changed the people he once considered family.
