Plot Outline
The series opens with Bon Temps, La., where waitress Sookie Stackhouse welcomes the first vampire, Bill, to Merlotte's bar, while Sookie's brother, Jason, deals with a fallout of a one-night stand. Based on Charlaine Harris's Southern Vampire books.
