A Sokka-centric story in which Sokka finds an aged Fire Nation warrior who becomes his master and teaches him the way of the sword.

Sokka deals with his feelings of inferiority about not being a bender in this classic Master/Student story. Through the course of the episode, he must prove himself worthy, struggle with mysterious training methods, and eventually face his master in combat.
