A successful businessman, Sean Moore, is haunted by objects from his past that he threw away and soon recognizes the reporter conducting an interview as a grown-up version of his old high-school flame Bess whom he broke up with. Reminded of how he stole a treasured 1927 autographed Yankee baseball by his father, Sean returns to his now-wrecked home and gets the chance to redo his life - changing that one decision and regaining Bess and his happiness.
