Eddie is back on duty and Cassie starts working at the Revolution Coffee Spot, all while Jenn's parents come to town with a surprise.
Eddie is finally healed from his injury and is excited to get back to work, but his excitement lessens when he learns that his in-laws, Coleman (Richard Roundtree) and Beverly (Beverly Todd) are in town for a visit. But, the whole family is shocked to learn that after 40 years of marriage, Jenn's parents are planning on getting a divorce. Meanwhile, Cassie offers to work at the Revolution Coffee Spot for free in exchange for art lessons from the cute manager, Luc. Charles who has been working hard on restoring an old Mustang for Cassie, is crushed to see Cassie and Luc flirting at the coffee shop and his jealous side is revealed.
