Cassie is completely devastated by Charles breaking up with her and doesn't quite understand why, while Jenn gets stuck with a used syringe at the clinic.

Cassie has a hard time getting over Charles and doesn't quite understand why he broke it off, but her spirits rise when Luc gets her art in a real gallery showing. But, when Cassie's art is not as well received as she hoped, Luc is there to encourage her and their flirtation heats up with a kiss. Meanwhile, Jenn gets accidentally stuck by a used needle and must get tested for various dangerous diseases, fearing she may have put herself in real jeopardy working at the clinic. And, Eddie is offered a promotion at the station, which would take him off the streets and behind a desk, but is he ready to give up trying to improve his community?
