Overview:
Since man has taken to the sky there have been reports of encounters by pilots with UFOs. In many of these cases mid-air combat ensued. There are cases covered in Project Bluebook and others with stunning audio transcription. UFO Hunters will investigate some important cases including the Iranian F4 case, the Kinross incident and an October 2007 report of a Romanian Air Force MIG colliding with a UFO. Other mid-air encounters covered include: the Nash/Fortenberry case, the O’Hare incident and the never before seen on US TV; Turkish meteor case, where several pilots on the ground and in the air witnessed a UFO shoot down a small meteor as it was heading to Earth. We have the expert who investigated the case and video, audio and other documentation

Cases:

• On September 19, 1976 a UFO was seen by witnesses and picked up on radar above the skies of Teheran, Iran. The Iranian Air Force scrambles two F-4 Phantom jets. They approach the object, lock their weapons as they prepare to fire, the object disables their weapons systems. In a rare event, we interview Parviz Jafari, one of the F4 pilots involved in the incident. We’ll also talk to another witness who saw the object north of Tehran, 4 hours before Jafari was scrambled to intercept.
• On October 30, 2007 above Gherla, Romania a MIG 21 Lancer was struck by four objects travelling at high speed. The plane made an emergency landing and the flight recorder picked up the images. We have the video.

Science Elements:
As the F4-Phantoms approached the UFO, they locked their weapons on the target then the weapons systems and avionics shut down. What could cause this? We will set up experiments to determine what type of electric, magnetic or plasma charge could shut down a sophisticated attack jet fighter’s ability to fight. At Tindall’s lab we’ll set up a flight simulator and fire a EMP at it to shut it down.

• We’ll perform detailed analysis of audio/video evidence and look for anomalies and or inconsistencies.
