When Eddie and Joy pay a visit to his parents in Florida, he discovers that his parents are planning to divorce to qualify for medical insurance. Eddie refuses to accept the divorce and convinces his mother (Valerie Harper) that it's not a good idea to put dad (Jerry Adler) back on the market.
