一護のクラスに転校してきた謎の三人組は、霞大路瑠璃千代、犬龍、猿龍と名乗った。まるでお姫様のような振る舞いの瑠璃千代とむやみにあたりを警戒する犬龍・猿龍。あからさまに怪しい三人に警戒する一護だったが、クラスメイトたちは三人をあっさりと受け入れてしまう。その日の深夜、静まり返った街に謎の霊圧が現れる。その気配に気付いた一護が外に出ると、裏の屋敷の屋根の上には犬龍が立っていた。
