When Nick learns that Lisa has taken KiKi away to Maryland on his weekend with her, he borrows the Darlings' jet to go get her back. He is surprised to see Karen and Brian are also along for the flight. Karen is on a mission to visit a sperm bank in order to have a child, and Brian has planned a secret romantic rendezvous with his ex-wife. Meanwhile, now a partner with Simon Elder, Tripp asks Patrick to try to reverse Congressman Charles Whatley's (John Schneider) standing against Simon's bio-fuel that Tripp had helped influence many years earlier. And Simon tells Nola that he suspects that Jeremy's amnesia isn't real.
