Plot Outline
A new life for Ryan Atwood, the Cohen and the Cooper families, and basically everyone else in the wealthy, picturesque, secretive, turbulent community of Orange County.

Music featured in the unaired pilot: "In Da Club" by 50 Cent instead of Black Eyed Peas Thomas Newman's Oleander Theme (same theme as in the movie White Oleander) Chris Carmack, who plays Luke Ward, was listed as a guest star in this episode. From "The Model Home" until "The Proposal", he is a series regular. Rachel Bilson and Melinda Clark are also guests in this episode.
