December 1944- Easy Company are told to hold the line in Bastogne as Hitler makes his last major offensive in the Ardennes. Despite the fact that their lines have too many holes and they are low in supplies, Easy Company does hold out. Doc Eugene Roe is Easy Company's medic who has to find the resources and materials to help the men and finds help from a nurse who works in a nearby town. Meanwhile Easy Company's new CO Lieutenant Dike takes command of the unit and the men immediately name him Foxhole Norman due to his need to leg it whenever the company is attacked by the German Artillery. As Roe continues helping the company he returns to the aid station in the town to find it hit in the shelling and the nurse killed in the attack.
