The older witch-turned blob named Petina (in the english dub) teaches Dorie about Spell drops, and her Wanderler to cast spells as part of her training. Dorie meets Reanne, and Dorie then decides to switch places with Reanne to see how she would like to be someone else. Wackiness ensues as the two girl's personalities (Reanne is very smart and polite, and Dorie's impulsive and misunderstood) confuse their respective families (Dorie has a younger sister, Kaitlyn, who later becomes a witchling).
