A wrong turn while traveling to Hawaii in the Mystery Flying Machine leads the gang to the Himalayas, where their plane is stolen by Bogel and Weerd, two mischevious ghosts. While trying to reclaim their plane, the gang encounter Flim-Flam, a young Artful-Dodger-like con artist, and Vincent Van Ghoul, a powerful warlock. Soon they come to discover that the townspeople are cursed to become werewolves nightly. Meanwhile, Bogel and Weerd scheme to get Scooby and Shaggy to open the fabled Chest of Demons, which is home to thirteen of the nastiest ghouls on earth, in hopes of gaining the respect of the imprisoned demons
