Therefore, this loss of sleep clashes with his empathic power, causing his funny remarks and quirks to actually become reality. This causes mayhem to ensue upon Angel and his crew. There is a final showdown with Angel against the Hulk-like Lorne alter-ego, who has manifested itself from Lorne's bad decision to undergo a no-snooze operation.
