It's mind over matter as passengers' patience, and health, are put to the test. Jewelie is flying from LAX to Oakland on a connecting flight. But the flight has left without her, even though she was yards away from the gate. At another gate, 79 year-old Betty is also trying to get to Oakland. But she might need oxygen and Southwest does not permit it on the flight. At Chicago, 108 year-old Ruby is taking a flight accompanied by her daughter; she is Southwest's oldest passenger, and is the oldest African-American mother on the planet. Christa is on her way to Orlando with her daughter Camile, but Denise has spotted a problem with the tickets, and might have to pull them off the flight. And at Houston, Bret Wilk has been up since the early hours, and was so tired, he fell asleep while his flight to Austin was boarding. |
