Arriving in Cardiff after an absence of 10 years, Billy CONNOLLY can't believe how the Welsh capital has been transformed. Touring the waterfront, Billy observes: "Cardiff Bay used to be sloppy & 'dock-sidey' but it's fantastic now - full of yachts. I've never seen such a change in a town in my life. It's becoming another place". Between gigs, Connolly makes the short boat trip to Flatholm Island, dons a pair of waders as he pans for gold in a mountain stream & explores the art on display in the midst of a wood in the Coed mountains: "There's a lovely project going on here.. there's art all over the place, it's not in frames". The programme draws to an end in Snowdonia as Billy explores a Welsh village unlike anywhere else in the world |
