大学での新たな生活へ期待に胸膨らませていた螢一。しかし、現実は何をやってもツキがなく、部活や恋愛など何かとトラブルがつきまとう。実は、そんな彼の頭上に輝いていたのは「不幸の星」であった。
ある日蛍一は、寮の先輩達から留守番と一緒に、山のような仕事を押し付けられ、途方にくれる。
それでも、前向きに頼まれた用事を片づけていく、お人よしな螢一。
そして最後の用事を片づけようとかけた1本の電話。しかし、受話器の向こうから返ってきた言葉は、なんと「こちら、お助け女神事務所です」の一言だった。
