Wyatt Cole (Scott) must finally decide what he really wants from his job and his relationship with his ex-girlfriend Alice (Elizabeth Reaser The Family Stone), who may have a job opportunity on the other side of the country. As he struggles to help a young boy who may be a victim of abuse, Wyatt must also deal with the fact that Lifeshield, the ambulance service for which he works, is on the auction block.
Wyatts paramedic partner John Sack Hallon (Omari Hardwick Beauty Shop, Sucker Free City), who has hopes of rekindling his relationship with the mother of his child, faces some tough issues when she delivers some shocking news. And paramedic Angela de la Cruz (Tracy Vilar The Steve Harvey Show, ER) prepares to enter a new phase of her life, one that involves an important contribution from newbie EMT Harper Sims.
