Ruthie (Mackenzie Rosman) is in a state of panic when she learns that Eric (Stephen Collins) and Annie (Catherine Hicks, who does not appear in the episode) are flying to Scotland with the intention of bringing her back to Glenoak. After agonizing over the decision, Kevin (George Stults) decides it's time to tell Lucy (Beverley Mitchell) about her father's fatal heart condition. Meanwhile, Sandy (Haylie Duff) figures the best way to get rid of her overzealous boyfriend is to accept Martin's (Tyler Hoechlin) marriage proposal, and Kevin discovers that Jane (guest star Sarah Mason) is hiding a big secret from the Camdens.
