Jane suspects that a groom, Simon, may not be the doctor he claims to be, since he hesitates to step in and help when his fiance Skippies father is in distress at their rehearsal dinner. Simon admits that hes lied to his fiance but wont tell her, so Jane grapples with whether or not to spill the beans and risk another wedding cancellation. Meanwhile, The Wedding Palace is threatened with a lawsuit from a father who is opposed to his daughter marrying another woman. With two weddings hanging in the balance, Russell suggests hiring a high-profile wedding planner named Johnny Kad to grow the business and increase profits. Also, Debbie confronts Cedric about their relationship, and Annie makes a drastic change in her appearance, causing everyone to wonder if she is having some kind of crisis. Her new look sparks Davids interest as it reminds him of their romantic past.
