Tony struggles to cope with the consequences of the accident and, having been abandoned by Sid and Michelle, is forced into an unlikely friendship with Maxxie. With one of the boys desperate to return to college and the other longing to leave, the pair realise they're going to have to help each other out if they want to improve their respective situations.
