A U.S. military specialist ("Lost's" Terry O'Quinn) is called up from retirement to investigate after soldiers outside Baghdad discover a mysterious casualty one they can't even identify as human. As he and his team try to identify the "corpse," others begin to appear, making him wonder whether the fallen creatures are emissaries from another world.
