The chef offers aid to Rachel, a restaurateur trying to sell inedible vegetarian cuisine to the gourmets of Paris. The struggling former waitress is a stubborn Scot just like her new mentor, and despite losing £5,500 per month, refuses to heed his warnings about her eccentric Brazilian chef and peculiar opening hours. What ought to be a sentimental return to the city where he trained threatens to be one of Gordon's most difficult challenges yet.
