1.) sounds ridiculous but: one of the 4 persons landing on the island is the weird guy from the solaris movie. and his behaviour is exactly the same. do you think there is any connection between the movie and lost? yeah, i know how that sounds but in my oppinion it's funny to think about it. what do you think?

Well, the show has already gotten a green light a while back for three more seasons, so up until the end of a season six.

I heard what you heard during Season 2. That means season 5 will be the last season, and not 6... If what you are saying is true, then we are only barely HALFWAY through the entire series...

6.) I didn't exactly "hear" it. It was officially announced by ABC on 2007-05-07 that the show was "renewed through the 2009-10 season (the show's sixth)".
