2.) so my opinion of this episode, very forced, they forced the plot along, both A and B plots.  Directing and editing was lacking in spots, either to much editing and not enough directing or too much directing and not enough editing.  Definitely not one of my favorite episodes.  I don't like the new girl on the FBI team, she is to much of a cliche and is unconvincing, which might not be the actresses fault at all, this is made worse by the fact that the episode didn't really introduce her.   That might be part of the problem with this episode, it had TOO much being forced into it at once.  It would have been a much better episode if they had made it as a LONG first episode (67 minutes instead of 45, or hr and half with commercials) or a dual episode.  Even the solid acting of the 2 male leads and the good acting in general, just couldn't convince me, because the plots where both haphazard and forced.  There was more than one scene where the acting was ALMOST there, but because of editing, scripting AND directing, it just fell flat, an example would be when the DA and Amita are talking about the two Epps, the feeling of awkwardness and sharing was almost there, but the scripting was forced and the scene got cut early.

I do hope they do better from here on.  Unfortunately any comments on their mistakes on this episode won't help them correct the next few episodes since they should already be made.

This program has excellent actors both in the Lead spots and the "supporting" cast parts.  The story lines tend to be excellent, the editing used to be superb and directing is not up to the standards of this program nor to this director in specific.  I hope this was just an aberration and that they get back on track.
