Plot Outline
Simon and Largo go camping but they get lost. They come across a beautiful house for sale in the town of Old River, CT. Largo falls in love with the house. The woman, who wanted to sell the house, was waiting for a customer. Largo and Simon asked to see this house, and immediately, Largo buys the house on a whim for $12 million. Unbeknownst to him, the neighbourhood has a high residency of Commission members, including his next door neighbour. When they go shopping, they help a young woman, Jacqueline Lindley, when she is attacked by thugs, who's also his next door neighbour's daughter. Buzzeti wants to conclude a partnership with Lucas Ramer, who doesn't co-operate. But when Largo invites him to a party for his new house, Ramer's mood begins to change for the better. Joy doesn't appreciate Largo's blow of heart. She speaks about it Simon and Kerensky, but when she sees that Largo will not change his mind, she gives up, and builds a new security system. Marissa goes to the Bunker to visit Kerensky, while Largo, Simon, and Joy spy on them, thanks to cameras, but Kerensky makes the camera go out of order. We learn that the Commission wants to terminate a member, the journalist, Warren Lindley, Largo's neighbour. Later in the day, Largo meets his neighbour and speaks with his daughter. He decides to invite them to his party. Everything is quiet until he hears shouts. These shouts are Lindley's shouts. The killers try to drown Warren in his pool. But when Largo comes to the rescue, the men escape. Largo learns that the journalist has been a member of the Commission for a year. The commission used him to change the truth to manipulate people with TV. When the Commission learns that Largo lived near Lindley, they decided to re-activate the spy in W Group: Marissa. Kerensky tracks down the car used by the thugs. He rents the car, which was used by two men of the commission, to acquire evidence, but two men were waiting for him and destroy the car with a rocket launcher. Kerensky succeeded to discover these men ID's. They worked for a senator, Jessup. Joy checks on the party, which is going well, when she discovers a suspicious package. It's a present from the Commission, who proposed an armistice. The group decides to be careful, and to have fun. Largo and Simon sing a song called 'La Bamba', while Joy dances with a Latin dancer. After that, Cardignac, Sullivan, and Ramer tried Karaoke too. Lindley speaks in private with Largo, and announces that Ramer proposed to him to lead a TV channel. Lindley suspects that he is a member of the Commission. Largo asks him to go to the rendezvous with a micro camera, because for them, it's a chance to weaken the Commission. Kerensky takes Marissa into a quiet room and tells her he's in love with her. Kerensky distracts Marissa by kissing her to steal her cell phone, to confirm that she is the leak at Group W. The next day, Marissa panics because she can't find the phone. Kerensky goes to Old River, to explain how the small camera that Lindley wore worked. After that, Kerensky announces to Largo and Simon that he found out who was the spy, and he explains that he stole the phone to find the source and to hack the codes, and after he would give the phone back to the owner. The Commission have doubts about Marissa, they are not sure that she was discovered, so they do nothing. Lindley meets Ramer and Jessup, and they speak about the Commission and the projects. Lindley learns Jessup wants to be the next president of United States, and the Commission wants that Lindley to influence the voters. Jessup's men suddenly discovered Simon and Joy, who were dressed up as repair workers. The men are neutralized but Jessup and Ramer hear a shot. Largo gets Lindley back and they make a get away. Lindley was going to broadcast the footage he shot with Jessup and Ramer, but he changes his mind when he learns the Commission killed the men. Largo sells his house because he is disgusted to learn that Old River is not a good town. Alas, the Commission realizes that Kerensky is onto Marissa. Del Ferril goes to the bunker to tell to him that Marissa died, burnt in her house...
