7th June-12th July 1944 Pvt. Albert Blithe is among those the 82nd and the 101st Airborne divisions who were dropped into Normandy on D-Day. Easy Company is then given the objective of taking the town of Carentan. Carentan must fall to the Allied Forces in order to link the Omaha and Utah beaches into an strong unified force. Easy Company manage to take the town but suffer casualties from the German Territory. After successfully capturing the town, Easy Company must hold out when an imminent german counter-offensive is expected to strike and re-capture the town. Blithe finds himself on the battlefield but must confront his own fears about fighting the war.
