Steve Karp is headed to college. He meets his new roommates, Marshall, Lloyd, and Ron, and they tell him they are throwing a party. The four set off to invite girls to their party. Later, much to his own surprise, Steve is actually fitting in at the party--until his dad Hal shows up. Hal tells Steven that he and Steve's mom are getting a divorce. Hal leaves Steve to take in the big news, and meets Ron, who takes him back to the party for some news. Lizzie catches Steve crying over the news, and suggests that they have sex. The next morning, Steve wakes up to find his dad sharing his bunk. Lizzie is nowhere to be seen.
