Worked with Richard Dean Anderson before the "Stargate SG-1" (1997) series; he was Dana Elcar's body double on "MacGyver" (1985). A former captain in the US Army, stationed in Korea in the 1970s. Is also a skilled artist and woodcraftsman Among his most important guest-appearances for TV was the part of Captain William Scully, Dana Scully's father, on "The X Files" (1993). Has appeared in three different productions which featured a character named Dr. Weir: The 6th Day (2000), "Stargate SG-1" (1997) and "Stargate: Atlantis" (2004). Is a frequent co-star of Jay Brazeau. Has appeared in episodes of four different series with Bruce Harwood: "MacGyver" (1985), "The X Files" (1993), "Honey, I Shrunk the Kids: The TV Show" (1997) and "Stargate SG-1" (1997). Has appeared in four different productions with Michael Shanks: A Family Divided (1995) (TV), "Stargate SG-1" (1997), The Artist's Circle (2000) and Suspicious River (2000). Has appeared with Steve Bacic in four different productions: She Stood Alone: The Tailhook Scandal (1995) (TV), "Stargate SG-1" (1997), The 6th Day (2000) and "Andromeda" (2000). Is a frequent co-star of Jerry Wasserman. Although Peter Williams was the main recurring guest star on "Stargate SG-1" (1997) for four years, he and Davis only shared a scene in three episodes: "Children of the Gods", "Serpent's Song" and "Point of View". Appeared in episodes of two different series entitled "Crossroads": "The Sentinel" (1996) and "Stargate SG-1" (1997). There is also an episode of the latter series entitled "The Sentinel". Son of MT Davis. Graduate of Southern Illinois University Carbondale. In one year (1991), appeared in two different productions in which a game of chess was played where humans are used for game pieces and if captured, they would be killed: "Twin Peaks" & the "All the King's Horses" episode of "Monkey Planet". Is the only person to have an actual service record on SG-1.
