He has a daughter Sophie and three surviving sons, Paul McCallum, Peter McCallum and Val McCallum. He and Jill Ireland had three children (including an adopted son Jason, who died on 7th November 1985 from an accidental drug overdose) and he had two children with his second wife, Katherine Carpenter.

Hit #117 on the Billboard Singles Charts in 1966 with "Communication" (Capitol 5571)

Father was concertmaster and violinist David McCallum Sr..

One of the first Brit actors to study the Method style of acting.

His hobbies include golf and computing.

Of the three original stars of "The Man from U.N.C.L.E." (1964), he is the only one who never appeared on the spin-off series "The Girl from U.N.C.L.E." (1966).

According to McCallum himself in a 2009 interview in Monte Carlo, at the time of the interview he had 5 grandchildren and one on the way.

Along with Leonard Nimoy, Cliff Robertson, Barbara Rush and Peter Breck, he is one of only five actors to appear in both "The Outer Limits" (1963) and the revival "The Outer Limits" (1995).
