Sam Kanater was born in Casablanca, Morocco in 1957. His grand father was a wonderful story teller. His father a stage actor and a set designer put him in a play when he was just six months old. Sam grow-up to be a stage actor/director/writer touring Africa and Europe. Sam has always dreamed of playing the off Broadways stages; that he did with great success. His other dream was to work with great filmmakers in Hollywood and be one of the great screen villains in the vein of great Jack Palance and Lee Van Cleef. Judging by his work in "24" (2001), Fear Within (2004) "Over There" (2005) he is on his way. Graduated from the Conservatory of Casablanca with a first prize in Drama and from Rhode Island School of Design with a degree in filmmaking. Kanater lives with his wife and their three beautiful children in Hollywood. |
