Mr. Olkewicz's son dropped out of high school to be a caregiver for him during his illnesses. His son Zach Olkewicz studied for the GED test and scored a perfect 4,000 on the test. He was the only person of 569,000 people who took the the test in California to accomplish this. He was only one of six in the nation as well. Zach was recently honored at a ceremony and received a three minute standing ovation.
He is the nephew of actor Adrian Drake. |
