Season three is a go! That's what we've been told, but sources on the set of ABC's addictive drama Brothers & Sisters have even better news: The series pickup for the 2008-09 TV season is for—drumroll, please—27 episodes. Yes, five extra whole hours.

The in-demand guest star for this fall is ... Chevy Chase?
So it would appear. Chase, who made the first of what will be several appearances on "Saturday Night Live" last weekend, has also signed on to a recurring part on "Brothers & Sisters."
The "Fletch" and "Caddyshack" star is set to begin work on the ABC drama soon, with his first appearance tentatively set for early 2008. He'll be playing an old boyfriend of Nora's (Sally Field) who returns to her life. Chase is scheduled to appear on multiple episodes.

Danny Glover Fits 'Brothers & Sisters'

Multiple Emmy nominee Danny Glover is coming aboard ABC's "Brothers & Sisters" next season, marking his first TV work in a couple of years.
According to The Hollywood Reporter Glover will play a love interest for Nora Walker (Sally Field) as a recurring role. How many episodes he'll appear in is unknown at this time.
