Fox's "Lie to Me" is bringing back two guest stars for expanded duties next season.
Mekhi Phifer, who appeared in the last two episodes of the crime drama's freshman season, will return as a series regular. Jennifer Beals, who also guest-starred in two episodes, including the season finale, will recur.

Lie to Me" is coming back.
Fox on Tuesday renewed midseason drama "Lie to Me" with a 13-episode second-season order.
The network also is boosting the show's producing team with Shawn Ryan joining as executive producer/showrunner.
