NBC Universal's production studio has said that Lipstick Jungle has not officially been canceled, apparently revoking older official announcements made on 2008-11-12, and will look at it's future later in the year.

NBC has handed out renewals to a host of series for the 2008-09 season.
At a scheduling presentation in New York, the broadcaster confirmed that bubble shows Medium, Lipstick Jungle, Law & Order and spinoff Law & Order: SVU would all be returning. They join the previously announced renewals for key shows Heroes, Chuck and Life.

NBC adds more 'Lipstick'

NBC has applied more "Lipstick Jungle," ordering six more scripts of the midseason drama.
After three segs, "Lipstick" has averaged a 2.6 rating and 7 share among adults 18-49. Show is tops in its Thursday night 10 p.m. slot with women 18-49 and women 18-34.
