Generation gap sitcom “My Family” has been reordered by the BBC for another two seasons plus a Christmas special.
The move means “My Family,” made by DLT Entertainment U.K. in association with Rude Boy Productions, will be on the air in Blighty until at least 2009.
Starring Robert Lindsay and Zoe Wanamaker as long-suffering spouses and parents Ben and Susan Harper, “My Family,” is one of Blighty’s most successful comedies.
In all a total of 20 new episodes will be made of “My Family,” which bowed on the pubcaster’s flagship web, BBC1, in 2000 and is produced by John Bartlett.
