ABC to revive 'THE NINE' in August

LOS ANGELES (thefutoncritic.com) -- ABC made it official today as its freshman drama "The Nine" will return for its swan song on Wednesday, August 1 at 10:00/9:00c.
A notice on the show's official web site confirmed the news this afternoon.

ABC Entertainment chief Stephen McPherson said Sunday during ABC's time at the Television Critics Association press tour that "The Nine" may get back on the air in [primetime]. The show doesn't have a specific return date, but McPherson says it's likely it'll be back on before the season closes in May.
However, the show isn't being extended beyond its initial 13-episode order this season. That means that viewers won't get to see a complete resolution of the bank-robbery story that fuels the show.

With immediate effect, "The Nine" is on hiatus and got pulled off ABC's schedule. The official web site of the show states ""The Nine will be returning later this season."
