Val Kilmer will make a rare network TV appearance when he pops up on the season premiere of CBS' "Numb3rs."
CBS announced Thursday (July 26) that Kilmer will play Mason Lancer, the mastermind behind last season's events that culminated in the discovery that Agent Granger was a mole.

Feature director Tony Scott will make his network television directing premiere on the season premiere of CBS' "Numb3rs."
Scott and brother Ridley Scott have long served as producers on the mathematical CBS procedural through their Scott Free banner. The company's TV credits also include Showtime's "The Hunger," for which Tony Scott directed several episodes.

Ab Januar werden die Folgen der zweiten Staffel in deutscher Erstausstrahlung ausgestrahlt. Allerdings auf Sat. 1 und nicht mehr auf Pro Sieben.
Somit ändert Sat.1 mal wieder seine Pläne für den Donnerstagabend, um sich gegen die starke RTL-Konkurrenz mit "CSI: Den Tätern auf der Spur" und "Bones – Die Knochenjägerin" zu behaupten. Zuvor war "The Unit" für den Donnerstagabend geplant.
